Photo Guidelines

There are some guidelines around the type of photograph that is acceptable for your Campus Card. MyPhoto will accept JPG/JPEG or PNG images of up to 10MB. Images will be re-sized to fit your University Campus card. It is very important that the photograph you upload shows only you and no other person, is a clear head and shoulders portrait and shows you facing the camera with nothing obscuring your face. A valid passport photo is ideal as identified below.

Keypoints:

• Your photo must contain your full face ONLY
• Your photo must be front facing
• Your photo must be passport-style
• Your photo must have a plain background
• No hats, caps or glasses that obscure the eyes
• No Selfies!

Your username will have been sent to you by email after you have completed enrolment. It is the first part of the username for your University of Sunderland Microsoft Account.

Students and Researchers use the first 6 characters of your email address the part before the @ symbol on the @student.sunderland.ac.uk credentials and the password you have set.

For staff, use the 6 characters before the @ symbol on your @sunderland.ac.uk account and the password you have set.
